INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

PROGRAM INFORMATION

We are based in Burlington and will be rotating our host rehearsal spaces, pending our term. Select venues were only able to provide donated time for a set period which may result in a change of rehearsal venue per term. We will be staying in centralized Burlington, unless concerts take us to other areas of Halton.

Orchestra Rehearsal runs Tuesday evenings from September until June.
Currently we are rehearsing at the West Plains United Church (549 Plains Rd West, Burlington)

Tuition for the Sinfonietta and Symphony program cost $850.00 and $1150.00 respectively. This cost has been covered in its entirety through scholarships by our donors and corporate sponsors.

There is however a $150.00 Administration Fee charge for successful participants for the year which helps cover a portion of the additional program costs not covered by donor sponsorship. Music rental, arranging and rights payments, snacks, venue deposits for concerts, website hosting and marketing/ media posters; additional non education elements. This is to be paid by program start, in September 2025. For Symphony members, this works out to approximately less than $2.00 for each hour of instruction.

AUDITION PROCESS

Recording Submissions Only. Video submissions must be sent by YouTube link. There is NO cost for auditions.

Due to the generosity of our donors and corporate sponsors, all successful applicants for our 2025/26 season program will receive full tuition scholarships. While we are working to be able to make this program available to all applicants, we are limited on the capacity of students we can accept and successful enrolment will be determined by our jurors. Jurors decision is final.
